This transmission cross member is designed for the installation of a TH400 (short tail) into an 1982-1992 third generation F-Body. Cross member is built using 0.120" rectangular tubing, 0.188" mild steel mount plates and a 0.375" thick transmission mount. New cross member is supplied powder coated bright red or gloss black and is includes new mounting hardware. This item utilizes factory cross member holes and requires no drilling.
