This replacement fuel tank sending unit fits 70-83 CJ5, 76-86 CJ7 and 81-86 CJ8 models with 15 gallon fuel tanks. It features a lock ring design and a 10-73 ohm impedance range (10 ohms at FULL). For a sending unit complete with filter sock, lock ring and seal, use 17724.09. Replaces OE 5357373
